In Palatka, Florida, there is an old Works Progress Administration (WPA) botanical garden called Ravine Gardens State Park. It has two suspension bridges that take you over a deep ravine, and a short hiking loop (about 2.5 miles) that takes you on a fairly strenuous walk, up stone steps. At the peak is an amphitheater, and along the trail loop are thousands of azalea trees planted in the 1930s. Itโ€™s hard to capture their beauty with a camera. Their blooms seem to float among the greenery, and sunlight filters through the trees in a hazy mist.

My friend said she wants a painting of them, with moss painted in grays and blacks. I have the picture of her idea below to hopefully recreate what she wanted.
