Chavez, you’re ruining a good country
This opinion article in the LA Times seems somewhat alarmist, but it’s worth noting. I doubt Chavez has as much power to bring down the U.S. and world economy as the authors think. Still, I go on record to say that Venezuela is headed for bad times. Where there are dictators, there is violence.
You may note Chavez has a “strategic alliance” with Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad—yet another example of the socialist Left wooing Islamic terrorists and vice versa because of their common hatred of this life. [hat tip: Scott Shepherd]
